Welcome to the Green Bay United Gryphons Hockey ("GBU") website. By accessing our website, registering for programs, or participating in team activities, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Organization Purpose

Green Bay United Gryphons Hockey is a youth athletics organization dedicated to providing safe, structured, and positive hockey experiences for student‑athletes in compliance with applicable United States and Wisconsin laws, league rules, and insurance requirements.

2. Eligibility and Registration

• Players must meet age and eligibility requirements established by governing hockey organizations and applicable school or league rules.

• A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and consent forms for any minor participant.

• Providing false or incomplete information may result in suspension or removal from participation.

3. Payments and Refunds

• Registration fees, team dues, and event payments must be paid according to posted schedules.

• Refund policies, if applicable, will be communicated during registration or season announcements.

• Certain fees (such as league fees, insurance, or uniforms) may be non‑refundable once incurred.

4. Code of Conduct

All players, parents, coaches, and spectators are expected to:

• Demonstrate sportsmanship and respect toward officials, opponents, and teammates

• Follow facility rules and safety guidelines

• Comply with league, school, and Wisconsin youth sports conduct expectations

GBU reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant or spectator for behavior that is unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with team values.

5. Assumption of Risk and Medical Care

Participation in hockey involves inherent physical risks, including injury. By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge these risks and authorize:

• Emergency medical treatment if they cannot be reached

• Communication with medical personnel or insurance providers as necessary

Participants are responsible for maintaining appropriate medical insurance coverage.

6. Equipment Responsibility

Players are responsible for maintaining required protective equipment that meets league and safety standards. GBU is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal equipment.

7. Photography and Media

Participation may include photography, video recording, or livestreaming for promotional, educational, or archival purposes. Media use is governed by the GBU Privacy Policy, including parental rights to request reasonable removal of images.

8. Website Use

Users of this website agree not to:

• Post unlawful, harmful, or abusive content

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data

• Use website content for commercial purposes without permission

All website materials, logos, and team branding are the property of Green Bay United Gryphons Hockey unless otherwise noted.

9. Third‑Party Services

Registrations, payments, or communications may be processed through third‑party providers. Use of those services is also subject to the provider’s own terms and privacy policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Wisconsin law, Green Bay United Gryphons Hockey, its volunteers, and affiliates are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from participation, website use, or event attendance, except where liability cannot be legally waived.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted with a new effective date. Continued participation or website use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Any disputes shall be handled in a court of appropriate jurisdiction within Wisconsin.
