Green Bay United Gryphons

OUR STORY

PLAY. DEVELOP. BELONG.

OUR STORY

BUILT ON HISTORY. FOCUSED ON WHAT'S NEXT.

Green Bay United Gryphons Hockey provides high school players in Northeast Wisconsin with an opportunity to play, develop, compete and belong.

GBU is a WAHA and USA Hockey-sanctioned program built around player development, competitive hockey and a strong team culture. We believe players grow when they're given opportunities, challenged to improve and surrounded by teammates and coaches who want to see them succeed.

This is more than a place to play hockey. It's a team to be part of.

WHAT GBU STANDS FOR

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

We focus on helping players continue to develop their skills, hockey IQ, confidence and understanding of the game.

OPPORTUNITY

Players need opportunities to grow. GBU provides meaningful opportunities to practice, compete, contribute and continue developing.

COMPETITIVE HOCKEY

We want to compete. Players are challenged to work hard, improve and bring their best to the ice while competing against strong hockey programs.

TEAM-FIRST CULTURE

Different schools. Different backgrounds. One team.

We expect players to support one another, work together and understand that being a great teammate matters just as much as individual success.

GBU TODAY

Green Bay United continues to grow while creating more opportunities for high school hockey players throughout Northeast Wisconsin.

GBU offers hockey opportunities throughout the year, giving players additional ways to stay on the ice, develop their game and be part of the team.

Our program is proud to combine competitive hockey with an environment where players can grow, contribute and enjoy playing the game.

2024–2025 WAHA U18 STATE CHAMPIONS

Our state championship represents what can happen when players come together, put in the work and compete as one team.

But success at GBU isn't measured by championships alone.

It's also measured by the players who improve, gain confidence, become better teammates and continue playing the game they love.

MORE THAN HOCKEY

Ask players what makes a team memorable, and the answer usually isn't just wins and losses.

It's the teammates beside them.

The practices. The road trips. The locker room. The difficult games. The great games. The friendships and memories built along the way.

At GBU, we're building a program where players can compete hard while still enjoying what it means to be part of a team.

PLAY. DEVELOP. BELONG.

That's what GBU is about.

A HISTORY WORTH REMEMBERING

Green Bay United has a history in Northeast Wisconsin hockey that extends beyond the team on the ice today.

Players, coaches, parents and volunteers have all played a role in the GBU story. The program has changed, faced challenges and been revitalized—but the opportunity for players to continue playing hockey has remained at the heart of it.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

The story of Green Bay United is still being written.

We're continuing to build a program where players have opportunities to develop, compete, make memories and belong to something bigger than themselves.

And we're always looking for the next player ready to become part of it.

COME PLAY GBU.
